Downtown Revitalization News

Congratulations to two new businesses locating in the downtown Albion area. Brade Ebey and Mike Shellman are opening a new store at 104 N Orange Street. It will be retail sales and installation of DishNetowrk and HughesNet Satellite Systems. DishNet is a provider of satellite television and HughesNet is satellite high speed internt. Watch for the opening.

The other business is Treasured Memories Photography located at 108 W. Main Street owned by Terrie Beckley. Congratualations Terrie and welcome to downtown Albion. Terrie is open for business.

These are exciting times for these two businesses. If your needs fit what they have to offer, please give them a visit as well as shopping locally at all the fine businesses we have in the Albion area.

Thanks to Dean Elwood and the Noble REMC for use of their trucks and men in taking down the American flags displayed around Albion. Thanks also to the manpower the American Legion offered. This again ia a tesatment of how we in Albion work together. The Chamber and the Stars and Stripes program provide the flags but without the team effort the flag presentation wouldn't happen. If you want to participate in the Stars and Stripes program next year, call Phyllis or 636-2748 or Carla at 636-3744.

Meetings are the third Monday of the month, 12:00 Noon at Kountry Kitchen on State Rd 9, North of Downtown.

If you wish to put your name on the ballot of the Albion Chamber of Commerce please contact a board member before the annual meeting in January.

Breakfast with Santa sponsored by Lions Club, 8 am -11 am at the Albion Firestation.

STAR Committee Chicken BBQ sale at the courthouse corner and Lions Club selling grapefruit and oranges.

 Noble County Saddle Club singing on horseback and collecting food for the CN Food Pantry.
