Water System:
Albion is provided water by a municipal water system. There are 3 wells with 3 high service pumps rated @ 600 gpm., 100,000 gallon services Down
town, 300,000 gallon services Industrial Park, 6 iron removal pressure filter rated @ 600 gpm.
Fire Hydrants are flushed in the fall of each year. This may result in discoloration of water. The dates will be announced in September.
Water meters are read on or near the 15th of each month.
Sewer System:
Sewer system service is supplied by the town of Albion. The Wastewater Ponds System consists of a first pond which is the primary pond, second pond that is the holding reservoir and the third Pond that is the finish pond.

The American Electric Power (AEP) services the Albion community, and is a subsidiary of the American Electric Power Company. A double circuit 138,000 volt transmission line delivers energy to the Albion substation. Here the voltage is reduced to 12 KU for delivery to Albion. Noble Rural Electric Membership Corporation (REMC) serves electricity to the expanding areas of the Town of Albion as well as rural areas of the Albion Community. Government and Taxes
Civic Administration
The town of Albion has a Town Manager and a Town Council. The Council President is elected by the council members annually. The council meets regularly on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month at 6 p.m at the Albion Town Municipal Building, 211 E Park Drive.
Town Clerk/Treasurer
The Clerk's Office in the Albion Town Municipal Building is at 211 E Park Drive. Hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The phone number is (260) 636-2246 and fax number is (260) 636-2821.
Police Protection

Fire Protection
Fire protection is provided to the community by volunteer firemen utilizing up to date pumpers, tanker trucks, grass trucks, a heavy rescue unit and a medical response unit. In addition, Albion is served by a local emergency medical first responders unit.
